First Mover Disadvantages
Everybody talks about first mover advantage, there are many disadvantages, you have to build your own market and marketplace, set standards and rules, best practices, new paradigm, if you are not a visionary people would ridicule you, second in line can get all those without repeating your mistakes Apple is getting brickbats from big entities who don't want to share revenue but want to get revenue from iOS platform, 30% feels like tax and not service or convenience charges. but I doubt if Amazon, Android or any other app store is going to offer its cuts way below the 30% benchmark
